First Week of Work

It has been 1 week since I started working. So far I think it is ok and now I'm writing this blog during office hour.

Shuuuu~ Don't tell my boss XDXD

So far I have been to UPM and Monash Sunway and let me tell you something, Monash is really cool. They have all the cool lab equipments and it is so organized unlike some university which I had attended.

And for UPM, I would say IT IS HUGE!!! You can really get lost there. Did you know that it took us 5-10 minutes to drive from its front gate to the Pusat Penyelidikan Bioteknologi? Phew~
Luckily I'm not the one who is driving or else I will surely get lost until my petrol finishes.

I guess that's all for now. I'll try to update some more in the near future.

First Day of Work

Today is my first day of work. It had been so long since I last worked and I had forgotten all about the working environment.

At first it was a bit awkward because I'm too 'shy' to talk to my colleagues.
Not to mention that the "BIG" boss is right behind me.

And I don't exactly have a training period, I have a working/training period at the same time. I guess they are really short of staff.

Anyways, at the end of the working hours, especially when all the bosses left the company, others are starting to warm up to me.

Oh, by the way, I had just experienced the "jam-ness of rush hour" as I was stuck at Klang Town for half an hour.

That's all I have to rant for now.

Until next time.

Happy Moo Moo Year!!

This year is the OX year, so drink more XO people!! Lame joke, I know.

While I'm writing this blog, it is the 5th day of CNY meaning "chor ng" in Canto.

So far it had been a good year for, I'll even say it being one of the best CNY I had so far.

As I'm a tiger *RAWR* I'm considered one of the lucky ones in the 12 animals zodiac and it is very true. So far, I had been sweeping all the winnings from the table ranging from uncles, cousins, parents, siblings and even friends. I have been so lucky that my mum asked me to go buy 6D from Sports TOTO tomorrow morning.

I think my "luck" had to do with my mum asking me to "jemput" Uncle Choi meaning CHOI SAN YEH in Canto. Yeah baby!! XD XD

Hopefully with me bragging here I won't lose my luck for this CNY.

Well, thats all to brag for now and HAPPY CHINESE NIU YEAR TO EVERYONE!!

It's LIFE!!

Big Stitch!! Just wanna put the pic sumwhere~ ^^

Nowadays people hardly find time for each other. This hectic lifestyle is considered a norm in busy cities like Kuala Lumpur. Especially during this period where inflation occurred and everyone is affected badly due to the rise in petrol and food. Fresh graduates are trying hard to find jobs to help support their family’s burden or just to survive in this harsh time. However, the pay is not enough and the pressure of getting a good job with high salary is getting to those who had graduated recently.

I have a few friends who are on a job hunt now, however the pay are meager and demanding. I’m dreading the time whence I’ll graduate and it’ll be harder for me to find a job. Hopefully I can get a good job as I have a lot of debts on my shoulder right now. You won’t believe how much debts a person who is still a student can shoulder. Let’s see, I have to pay installment for my car, PTPTN, insurance and house loan. Gosh, how am I going to survive?

Well, enough about the sad stuff, on the brighter side, last Sunday my friends and I went out on an outing which I dubbed as the “KL tour for Dummies”. You see, we are all city people and practically live in KL and yet we deemed it necessary to explore KL. But don’t worry, because we did not step into Pudu station as Dr. Haresh said and I quote, “I think Pudu station has at least 5000 cfu” which means that that place is infested with millions of bacteria. Eww, thinking about it give me the shudders.

I’m getting out of topic again and I always do it subconsciously. I guess I’m a bit absent-minded. See, I did it again. Okay, let’s get back to the main topic. Er, where was I again? Oh right, the “KL tour for Dummies”.

It was early morning and the sky was gloomy. It’s a perfect day to walk around KL. I made some tortillas for my friends as breakfast so that we will not starve before we reach there. I fetched my friends from the same neighborhood as mine and head out to another friend’s place. We goof around a lot during the trip and in the blink of an eye; we have reach to our destination. First stop, Petaling Street. It’s a must to go there because all the things there are so cheap. Since I’m so used to supermarkets and shopping malls, I did not realize that there are things out there that are cheap and very affordable.

Not only it’s cheap, you can actually bargain with the seller to make the item even cheaper. That is what my friend did, bargain her way until the seller became speechless. It’s a comfort having her around Petaling Street because she knows all the tactics and ways to get her way. After loitering around at Petaling Street, we decided to move on to our next destination, Central Market.

Let me clear out one thing, I’ve been to Central Market before this about 10 years ago. But it did not look like this when I was there 10 years ago and the best thing was that the whole place is air-conditioned. Woohoo. We walked around the whole place and I’m acting like I just came from a village and had never seen a city. In a way, I am fascinated by the things that they sell there. So many art works and handicraft and most are affordable. I can’t help myself and bought a small silk pouch that goes perfectly with my yukata. We even chatted with an owner of a shop who thought that we are secondary school students. Imagine that.

Somehow, we managed to squeeze a bit of time to go KLCC, which is also another famous hotspot at KL. We went window shopping around, spent a lot of time at Kinokuniya and later, went out to the park to take some memorable pictures.

2 random people that started jumping around in the KLCC park (really dunno who they are) =.=

Psst, dun go so near them, pretend that u cannot see them

Oh my gosh, they are practically dancing in the street...0.o

Err...viewer's discretion??

Ooook....back to normal or as normal as it can get..^^

Lastly, around 6.45pm we went to Pandan Indah to a place called LookOut Point that has a spectacular view of sunset and also the KL city view from a restaurant. We sat there and silently enjoying the sunset view that most of us don’t even bother to spend a few minutes to look at. The night view of KL city was breath-taking with all the sky-lights and the hustle-bustle of the city. We even saw Genting Highlands from where we stand surrounded by the greeneries. We felt peaceful there by just breathing in the fresh cold mountain air with the sounds of insects as the background sound.

We took a lot of pictures and generally had fun the whole day around KL. So as a closure, in this “KL tour for Dummies”, I can proudly say that I am a dummy because the experience gained from the visit in KL is worth taking.

Secret Santa!!

Hey! It has been a long time since my last blog. So sorry coz I'm not a good blog writer, a lil' bit lazy to jot down everything in my mundane life. >.<

But, since it's almost New Year, I think I should make another entry here.
An extremely large nut-cracker thingy!! And it actually moves...^^

Once again we had a Secret Santa at 1 Utama. In this event, my friends which consist of Karin (my ex- ^^), Sim Mei, Su Sien (lavi), Hui Zhen, Pauline (pao-pao), Li Ern (annoying lil' octopus), and ME!!

The purpose of this event is that everyone will be someone's Secret Santa and must buy present to that person that was randomly picked. Of course the said person must not know her Secret Santa (coz it's a secret!! duh!). Then, all of us were split into 3 groups and even those in the same group must not reveal the receiver of the present. Each person was given a few hours to buy present for that person.

I was grouped with Sim Mei (randomly picked by "lat-tali-lat") XD and we scoured the whole complex to find a gift. By then, we were dead tired and I was wearing boots!!

In the end of the day, when everyone receives their present, each must guess their own Secret Santa. And 3 guesses on what I get as a present.....A. Cat chew toy B. Cat food C. Cat plushie...

And the answer iiiiiissssssss.......drum roll~
My personal army of nut-crackers that helps me create sound effects...XD XD
C. Cat plushie!!

No suprise there actually...=.=

Now I have 3 cat plushies!! A Nana neko-chan, an Aristrocat, and a beanie cat plushie. (This serves as a reminder on what type of cat plushies I have for future reference)

Still, we had a lot of fun!! Should do this next year again. Well, I'll really try to write more, hopefully by next year....XD

Maybe if I get good comments I might get interested to put in a few words. (Hint hint)

COMIC FIESTA!! 16th December 2007

It's a bit late because I was so tired.

It was quite fun because the Chess Tournament was held yesterday. All the participants will be playing chess against other cosplayers and the interesting part is that they have to show their special move for their character.

The funniest part is Zaraki Konpachi, a crossover between the no. 11 captain, Zaraki Kenpachi and Kon, a teddy bear from Bleach. It's so cute!!

This is during the battle chess...Captain Zaraki Konpachi!!

Sorry, I'm a lil lazy to write too much. Anyways a picture is worth a thousand words so here are a few thousands words:

Kenshin aka Batthosai from Rurouni Kenshin ^^

Kamatari also from Rurouni Kenshin (actual person is Riko-chan)

From left: Kaoru, Kenshin and Kamatari from R.K

From left: Millenium Earl, Camelot Rhode with Rero (the pumpkin head umbrella) and Rinali from D.Gray-man.

Somebody from Saioungoku Monogatari (Sorry, I haven't watch the series yet....=.=; )

This is my bro's friend cosplaying as a character from Mar Heaven (I forgot the character's name...Gomenne)

Watcha looking at?! That's all for this entry, I'll cya next time!! XD

COMIC FIESTA!! 15th December 2007

Dear Blog (it sounds so lame!!) Okay, let's try again.

I have been planning on this day for quite some time since I'll be making my debut as Rinali from D.Gray-man.

This is me!! As Rinali from D.Gray-man.

Anyway the D.Gray-man is an anime which is highly recommended by me. It's a combination of action-pack, gothic and supernatural anime that must not be missed!! Go and watch now!! Gosh, now I sound like a sales-person.

Okay, back to main topic. Today, I left my house at 11am and while I was waiting at a traffic light, I remembered that I left my badge at home. Misfortune no. 1.

My badge at the top right corner.

So, I have to go back and take. Sigh, later on when I was passing through the toll, I dropped my Touch n Go card onto the floor near the clutch pedal. Misfortune no. 2.

After that, my sis gave me her Touch n Go card and I overcame the first obstacle aka the Sungai Rasah Toll. Then, when I reached the second toll aka the Batu Tiga Toll, my car's window stuck. Misfortune no. 3.

I mean did I offend someone up there?? And it doesn't end at that, by the time I reached the familiar road which I usually take to Times Square, I found out that they blocked the road to build a flyover. Not only that I'm not familiar with K.L area, now I'm lost and don't know how to go to Times Square. Misfortune no. 4.

You'll think when it reach no. 4 already it'll stop rite? Not a chance, by the time I reached Times Square, it was already 1 p.m. While I was searching for a parking place, there's this idiot who cannot make up his mind on where to park because there were 3 cars coming out simultaneously. His age must have catch up with his IQ already.

When I finally manage to go inside Times Square, I realised I made a major mistake. I did not check where the event is to be held. Damnit. I called my friend but she did not pick up my call so I called another friend who later told me after she checked the net the venue of the event. Phew. Misfortune no. 5.

My sis with her friend and me went separate ways after we reach there leaving me alone. Sobs. So lonely...

Sigh....where are my friends?

However, later Kenny came and somehow he told me that he haven't try Kenny Roger's Roasters. Gosh, so first time for everything and Kenny had his first meal of Kenny Roger's. Since he founded this restaurant so supposedly he shouldn't pay.....right? Yeah right.

Later on, we meet up with Su Sien and all hell break loose. Everyone wants to take our picture and here's some of the pictures.

From left: Komui nii-san, Allen-kun, Rabi and ME!! Rinali!!

Rabi and ME!! Rabi, where's ur hammer??

Oooo, lookout Rabi!! Ni-san is going to kill u!!

Crossovers...Love the WTF!! sign btw...

Who dares to fight me now? I have 2 innocence in my hand....Bwahahahaha

By the end of the day, I was dead on my feet and start to develop a bad headache. Need to drink more water. By the way, I'll be going tomorrow too so I'll be writing soon...I hope. Still getting the hang of writing blogs. XD
